Larum is a production duo consisting of Micah Frank and Chet Doxas along with multiple collaborators and guest musicians. Together, they present improvised live sets and recordings that blend woodwinds and electronics combined with collages inspired by musique concrète, ambient, blues and jazz.

Micah Frank is an award-winning electronic sound artist that uses algorithmic, generative and stochastic methods to build sound sculptures. Much of his work incorporates field recordings, hand-built software and real-time synthesis techniques. He is a 2019 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in music and sound from The New York Foundation for the Arts.

Chet Doxas is a multiple Juno nominee and has appeared on over one hundred recordings. He has released eight albums as a leader and co-leader. He has worked with a wide range of artists including, Carla Bley, John Abercrombie, Rufus Wainwright, Michael Formanek, and Dave Douglas. When he is not touring Doxas can be found in his Brooklyn recording studio working on his next projects or producing other artists.
