In 2022, following their release of "The Music of Hildegard von Bingen Part One," the Classicaltronic duo Larum performed at the renowned Brooklyn venue Public Records. This event featured a distinguished lineup of ambient musicians, including Benoit Pioulard, BlankFor.ms, Hotel Neon, and Slow Meadow. On stage, Larum was joined by the enchanting shamisen and vocal artistry of Emi Makabe. This live recording represents the culmination of Larum's work throughout the year with a consistent recording and performance schedule that honed the group's live dynamic. Seamlessly weaving the ancient monophonies of von Bingen with the cutting-edge realms of ambient, musique concrète, and drone, they created an unforgettable tapestry of sound and emotion.
